VENUS Sex & Relationship Trends 2026

Home-office flirting instead of Excel – one in two people are erotically distracted at work

VENUS survey shows: More sex on vacation, AI remains a side note, and poor hygiene is the biggest turn-off

Berlin, August 2026. First answer the emails, then a quick look at Instagram, WhatsApp or OnlyFans? For many Germans that is evidently long since reality.

A representative survey of 1,115 participants commissioned by VENUS Berlin shows: 63.3 percent have already flirted or consumed erotic content during working hours while in the home office. Around one in five even does so regularly.

Love lives also change noticeably on vacation. 53.8 percent of respondents say they have sex more often on vacation than in everyday life.

Many Germans now react surprisingly calmly to digital cheating. 41.8 percent would even forgive their partner an affair with an artificial intelligence. Another 32.4 percent say: it depends.

An actual relationship with an AI is still out of the question for most people, however. 69.3 percent cannot imagine having a virtual partner – even though almost every second person (48 %) believes that artificial intelligence will strongly change the erotica industry in the future.

On the subject of turn-offs, by contrast, there is agreement. Poor hygiene is the biggest mood killer in the bedroom for 52 percent of Germans – well ahead of stress, poor communication or the smartphone.

Walter Hasenclever, press spokesperson for VENUS: “The erotica industry is changing rapidly. AI, creators and new platforms are a natural part of it today. But our survey also shows: in the end nothing beats direct contact. That is exactly why tens of thousands of people come to VENUS every year.”

From October 22 to 25, 2026, the Berlin exhibition grounds will once again be transformed into the meeting point for erotica, lifestyle, entertainment and creator culture. With over 270 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and more than 32,000 visitors, VENUS is one of the largest events of its kind worldwide.

VENUS Sex & Relationship Trends 2026

7 out of 10 Germans do not rule out OnlyFans for themselves

VENUS Berlin survey: Almost every second person would publish erotic content at least anonymously Berlin, August 2026. A few years ago the answer would probably have been a very different one. Today more than one in three Germans can imagine publishing erotic content online themselves – and almost every second person would do so at least anonymously. Just under 30 percent rule it out entirely. That is the finding of a representative survey of 1,115 participants commissioned by VENUS Berlin. 22.2 percent of respondents would publish content on platforms such as OnlyFans without any reservations. Another 48.4 percent say yes – but only anonymously. Together that adds up to more than seven out of ten Germans who are fundamentally open to the idea. “The creator economy has changed erotica. For many people it is no longer a taboo today, but a form of self-realization or even entrepreneurship,” says Walter Hasenclever, press spokesperson for VENUS Berlin. Another figure from the survey also shows how attitudes toward sexuality are shifting: 62.7 percent of Germans say they are more sexually open today than they were five years ago. Most people now discover new trends no longer through magazines or television, but on social media. 72.9 percent inform themselves there about new developments around sexuality and relationships. Erotic trade fairs already follow in second place with 60 percent – ahead of porn platforms (50.2 %). “Creators are the new stars of the industry. They set the trends, build their own brands and reach millions of people directly. That is exactly the development we are seeing at VENUS as well.” From October 22 to 25, 2026, the Berlin exhibition grounds will once again be transformed into the meeting point for erotica, lifestyle, entertainment and creator culture. With over 270 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and more than 32,000 visitors, VENUS is one of the largest events of its kind worldwide.

VENUS KIEZ by Inkasso Ingo: The meeting point for creators, influencers and everyone who makes things happen

Berlin, 2026. Anyone who wants to meet creators, influencers, media and familiar faces at VENUS cannot avoid one place: the VENUS KIEZ by Inkasso Ingo. In the middle of Hall 20, an entirely new concept is taking shape across roughly 70 square meters. Not a classic exhibition booth. Not a sterile business lounge. Not an area reserved for the industry. Instead, VENUS and social media phenomenon Inkasso Ingo are bringing an urban meeting point to the fair, where community, content and real encounters take center stage. A bar, lounge areas, the official autograph and presentation zone of the VENUS brand ambassadors as well as numerous creators, influencers and media representatives make the VENUS KIEZ one of the most exciting new hotspots of VENUS 2026.

venus kiez

No products are sold here. Contacts are made here. Videos get filmed, interviews are given, new projects are discussed and selfies are taken. This is where the scene meets – open, authentic and without reservations. As official host, Inkasso Ingo will be on site throughout the fair and give the VENUS KIEZ its unmistakable face. The cult influencer from Hamburg welcomes guests, brings people together and makes sure that well-known creators feel just as at home as visitors who are simply curious. “Social media is all well and good. But the best stories still happen when people meet in person. That is exactly why we are doing the VENUS KIEZ. This will not be an exhibition booth. This will be a meeting point. A place where creators, influencers, fans and media come together, exchange ideas and simply have a good time. I am really looking forward to it. This will be the thing at VENUS 2026.” – Inkasso Ingo A particular highlight will be the official autograph and presentation zone. Meet & greets, photo sessions and autograph sessions with the official VENUS brand ambassadors will take place here throughout the fair. At the same time the area serves as a point of contact for media, interviews and spontaneous creator meet-ups. With the VENUS KIEZ, VENUS is responding to a development that has fundamentally changed the creator world in recent years. The boundaries between influencers, streamers, podcasters, content creators and entertainers are increasingly blurring. Communities are becoming more important than platforms. Personal encounters are gaining in significance. That is exactly what VENUS is now creating its own place for. “The VENUS KIEZ stands for what VENUS is about today: bringing people together. Creators meet fans. Influencers meet media. Industry professionals meet new talent. In Inkasso Ingo we have found the perfect host for that.”, explains VENUS press spokesperson Walter Hasenclever. Whether well-known social media stars, up-and-coming creators, media representatives or visitors – for four days the VENUS KIEZ is meant to be the place you drop by, end up staying and keep coming back to.

New VENUS poster puts Berlin in the mood

VENUS Berlin will soon be visible across the cityscape again, kicking off the annual countdown to the start of the fair: with a new, eye-catching poster motif, the international erotic fair is whetting appetites for four days of experience, entertainment and encounters. On billboards, city lights and digital screens, the new visual will announce VENUS Berlin 2026 from the summer onward. Once again at the center this year: Micaela Schäfer, a VENUS veteran and one of the best-known faces in the industry.

Together with two other models, she stands for the diversity and appeal of the fair. The motif relies on strong colors, clear lines and a direct message: October 22–25, Berlin exhibition grounds. With it, VENUS is starting its presence in public space early and putting the capital in the mood months before the fair begins. For four days in October, the Berlin exhibition grounds will then become the meeting point for an international scene that is more varied than ever: visitors can expect a mix of live experiences, shows, shopping, stars, personal encounters and new trends and impulses around erotica and lifestyle. Year after year, VENUS draws thousands of guests as well as exhibitors, creators, media representatives and industry professionals from all over the world to Berlin. One key to that success remains the particular mix of entertainment and business. The look of VENUS 2026 is rounded off by the fair’s official brand ambassadors, who stand for the diversity and development of the industry and shape the event on site as well. Alongside strong personalities such as Micaela Schäfer, Shaiden Rogue, Lia Engel, Calea Toxic, Mika Nox, SallyDinosaur and Jenny Stella, Tamy Tation is now joining the line-up too. With her, the group grows to eight personalities who represent different paths and facets of the scene – and who make VENUS tangible as an experience between entertainment, community and modern creator culture. VENUS Berlin 2026 is once again supported by well-known sponsors from the industry, who also feature on the current campaign motif – among them EIS.de, MyDirtyHobby, Stripchat, Chaturbate, BongaCams, Rush Hour Berlin and TantumPay. With over 270 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and well over 32,000 visitors, VENUS Berlin is one of the largest events of its kind worldwide and is setting new accents for the industry in 2026 as well.

APRIL 2026

These 7 Women Open VENUS 2026 – and Stand for a New Era of the Industry

The faces of VENUS have changed. Where individual stars once dominated, today a whole generation of women who have built their careers themselves – through social media, platforms, and their own business models – is taking center stage. At VENUS Berlin 2026 (October 22–25), this transformation becomes visible – and for the first time, it is presented together: Seven of the most influential personalities in the scene are officially serving as brand ambassadors for the fair and will jointly open VENUS on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

VENUS 2026

Among them: Micaela Schäfer, Shaiden Rogue, Lia Engel, Calea Toxic, Mika Nox, SallyDinosaur, and Jenny Stella. They represent different paths into the industry – and a development that has sustainably changed erotic and creator culture. At the center stands a personality who, like no other, represents the history of VENUS itself.

Micaela Schäfer

Micaela Schäfer has been one of the defining figures of the fair for years. As an icon and veteran with constant media presence, she has not only accompanied the industry’s transformation but actively shaped it.

“VENUS is more than a trade fair to me – it’s part of my own story. I grew up here and I always come back.”

Shaiden Rogue

While Schäfer stands for continuity, Shaiden Rogue embodies the global dimension of today’s adult industry. She is considered the most well-known German porn star and has long been working internationally – with content consumed worldwide and a fanbase that extends far beyond Germany.

“I come from Germany – but my career is international. For me, VENUS is the moment when everything comes together again.”

Lia Engel

Lia Engel represents a new generation of creators who refuse to be put into classic roles. Instead of seeing herself as an erotic star, she sees herself as a creator with a strong community, where real interaction is at the center. For her, self-determination is key: Everyone should be able to follow their own path, develop freely, and stand by themselves – independent of societal ideals.

“Everyone deserves their place, as long as no one is harmed.”

Calea Toxic

How radical a career change in this industry can be is shown by Calea Toxic. Her path led her from the police force into the world of dominance: Today she runs her own established dominatrix studio in Duisburg. A break that attracts attention – and at the same time stands for a clear attitude.

“I have completely left my old life behind and built something of my own. Today I make the rules myself.”

Mika Nox

Mika Nox also represents the dynamism of the new creator economy. Just three years ago she was a visitor to VENUS, today she is part of the stage – as a successful creator and entrepreneur.

“I know both sides – fan and creator. That’s exactly what makes VENUS so special to me.”

SallyDinosaur

The story of SallyDinosaur shows how strong brands can develop from personal experiences. Her name, originally born out of bullying, is now her trademark – and stands for a generation that defines its own narratives. “I decided that my story belongs to me – and not to others.” What makes her special is her uncompromisingly authentic style. Sally presents herself as approachable, honest, and without any facade – this is exactly what her community loves about her. Her fans follow her not only for the content, but for the real personality behind it.

Jenny Stella

The picture is rounded off by Jenny Stella, who recognized early on that reach requires structure and strategy above all else. She is one of the creators who has consistently built her career as a business.

“Many underestimate how much work and planning goes into it. VENUS makes exactly that visible.”

Together, these seven women show how broad the spectrum of the industry is today – from established personalities to new creators who have built their own brand in a very short time. Content, reach, and business models are increasingly created through their own strength.

With their joint opening on October 22, they are also setting a visible sign: for an industry that is redefining itself – and for a trade fair that reflects exactly this change.

When more than 32,000 visitors and over 270 exhibitors come to Berlin again in October, these developments will not only be discussed but experienced. On stages, at booths, and in direct exchange with the community, what VENUS has always stood for becomes clear: the connection between digital reach and real encounters.
